i. Biography
Paul C. P. McIlhenny was an American business executive who led the family-owned McIlhenny Company, the maker of Tabasco sauce, at Avery Island, Louisiana. He joined the company in 1967, became president in 1998, chief executive in 2000, and chairman of the board in 2012. He died in New Orleans on February 23, 2013, while still serving as chairman and CEO.
