Today

Paul Golitzin continues as both president and director of winemaking at the winery. The focus remains Cabernet Sauvignon, with the work centered on translating vineyard character into finished wine through measured, technical judgment. What comes out of that approach is defined by structure, ripeness, tension, and dark-fruited intensity. The craft is specific, but the claim is simple: at Quilceda Creek Vintners, his leadership is expressed through the daily rhythm of one Washington estate.

Signature

Paul's signature wines include Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 1997 Quilceda Creek Champoux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Galitzine Cabernet, and Palengat Cabernet. Read together, they show a practice centered on Cabernet Sauvignon and on the identity of Quilceda Creek Vintners. The names carry vineyard, vintage, and place, and they point to a body of work built on consistency rather than display. Each fits the same architectural idea: wine with presence, clarity, and a serious sense of purpose.
