Pawel Kazanowski

Paweł Kazanowski is a Polish chef whose career began at the Japanese restaurant Yoshino in London before he joined Zuma in 2006 and later moved to Dubai in 2008 to help establish Zuma’s flagship venue there. He went on to serve as Head Chef in Abu Dhabi from 2013, Group Development Chef in 2015–2016, and returned to Dubai in 2016 as Executive Chef for the Middle East and Turkey, overseeing culinary operations across the region. In 2025–2026, reporting indicates he left Zuma and moved into independent projects, including co-founding Kima Izakaya in the UAE.
