Pedro Morán is a Spanish chef from Prendes, Asturias, associated with Casa Gerardo, the family restaurant founded in 1882 in Prendes. He is identified as part of the fourth generation running the restaurant with his son Marcos Morán, representing the fourth and fifth generations of the family at Casa Gerardo. Coverage also states that he was born at Casa Gerardo and began focusing on cooking after briefly studying business administration in Oviedo.
