Marcos Morán is the fifth-generation chef at Casa Gerardo in Prendes, Asturias, where he works alongside his father Pedro Morán at the family restaurant founded in 1882. He is identified in high-trust coverage as the chef now holding the reins at Casa Gerardo and as the restaurant’s head of kitchen, helping maintain its balance of Asturian tradition and modern innovation. Casa Gerardo earned its first Michelin star in 2011, and Morán has also been associated with recognition including the Chef de l’Avenir award and Spain’s Repsol Guide distinctions.
