i. Biography
Peter Mondavi Sr. (1914–2016) was a Napa Valley winemaker and longtime leader of Charles Krug Winery, where he joined the family business in 1946 and later served as president and CEO. He remained active at the estate in St. Helena into his centenarian years and retired from Charles Krug in 2015.
