Raymond Blanc OBE is a French-born chef and founder of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, where he created the hotel and restaurant in 1984 and pioneered garden-to-table gastronomy. Belmond states that after more than 41 years of leadership at Le Manoir, he transitioned to Founder and Lifetime Ambassador as the property entered redevelopment. Belmond also notes that the restaurant earned two Michelin stars in its first year and has retained them for over 30 years.
