Richard Kershaw

Richard Kershaw is a South Africa–based Master of Wine and owner-winemaker of Richard Kershaw Wines in the Elgin Valley, Western Cape. Born and raised in the UK, he worked as a chef before moving into wine, settling in South Africa in 1999 and founding his own label in January 2012. His wines focus on cool-climate, site-specific, clonally selected Chardonnay, Syrah, and Pinot Noir, and he has been described as one of the few Masters of Wine making their own wines.
