Rodrigo Oliveira

Rodrigo Oliveira is a Brazilian chef and restaurateur of Pernambuco family origin who has run Mocotó in São Paulo for more than 20 years, with the restaurant telling his family’s story and focusing on Brazilian/Northeastern cooking. The Balaio IMS profile also identifies him as the chef behind Balaio IMS on Avenida Paulista and says he launched Mocotó Café at Mercado de Pinheiros and a new Mocotó unit in Vila Leopoldina in 2023. He was presented by Mocotó as a chef running the house in its São Paulo locations, and contemporary press identifies him as the chef at Mocotó and a MasterChef Brasil judge in 2023.
