Roland Micu is the Director of Food & Beverage at Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley, California, where he oversees food and beverage direction across the property, including Lucia Restaurant & Bar. He is identified in hospitality coverage as a Master Sommelier and was reported to have joined Bernardus Lodge & Spa in spring 2026. Earlier reporting says he became a Master Sommelier in 2012 at age 28 and was, at that time, the world’s youngest Master Sommelier.
