i. Biography
Rúnar Pierre Herivaux is a Haitian chef trained in France who has been associated with ÓX in Reykjavík, where he led a modern Nordic tasting-menu experience. He was a young chef at Lava by the Blue Lagoon, where he won silver in Nordic Chef Junior in 2015 and had earlier been named Icelandic apprentice of the year in 2013.
