Ryan Blackburn is the chef-owner of The Old Stamp House in Ambleside, Cumbria, which he opened in 2014 in the former office of William Wordsworth’s stamp-distribution work. The restaurant is built around locally sourced Cumbrian produce and has been recognized for its tasting menus and regional cooking, with its family-run front-of-house operation overseen by his brother Craig Blackburn. In 2024, Blackburn also expanded his Ambleside operations by closing Kysty and introducing new venues beside The Old Stamp House.
