Today, Sakis Nikolaidis is owner of Anatolikos Vineyards Afoi Nikolaidi O.E. The work reads less like brand-building than farm management: measured, rooted, and built from the ground up. The name carries family and place together, and Nikolaidis’s position in it points to a discipline shaped by steady work rather than display.

He is co-owner of Anatolikos Vineyards (Xanthi), where the estate’s identity is built on field work and cellar restraint. “Minimum intervention” is not a slogan here; it sets the terms of production, with the vineyard asked to lead and the winery used to preserve what has already been established in the fruit. Xanthi gives the wines their geographic anchor, but the real emphasis is on the working landscape behind them: vines, weather, labor, and the long routine of cultivation that defines the finished wine.

Nikolaidis states the approach plainly: “Our philosophy is minimum intervention in the winery and hard work at the vineyards.” The language is direct, and the method follows suit, favoring repetition, restraint, and the unglamorous consistency that viticulture requires.
