    i. Biography

    Sandro Boscaini is the President and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Masi Agricola in Gargagnago di Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Verona, where he has led the company since 1978 and helped promote Veneto wines internationally. He was born in Marano di Valpolicella on 24 September 1938, graduated in Economics and Commerce from Università Cattolica di Milano in 1964, and is widely identified by Masi as “Mister Amarone.” In 2024, Masi announced he received Wine Enthusiast’s Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year 2024.
