Sawsan Da'ana is a Kuwaiti-Palestinian chef and restaurateur at Matbakhi in Kuwait City, where she is the owner and head chef and is also identified as the person behind Matbakhi by Sawsan. Earlier coverage also described Matbakhi as a Levantine restaurant run by Da'ana in West Abu Fatira, Kuwait, with Da'ana handling the culinary direction.
