Sebastian Frank is an Austrian-born chef and head chef & owner of the 2-Michelin-starred Restaurant Horváth in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, where he has been cooking since 2010. He is renowned for his 'emancipated vegetable cuisine' philosophy, which elevates vegetables to equal status with animal products, and has earned his restaurant two Michelin stars and 18 out of 20 points in the Gault Millau Guide. Frank trained under Helmut Reit at Vienna's esteemed Steirereck and draws inspiration from his Lower Austrian roots, creating dishes rooted in sustainable cooking practices and high-quality local produce.
