Selim Ülker

Selim Ülker is a Nashville-based Turkish chef who was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, and trained in a culinary high school before moving through five-star hotel kitchens in Istanbul. He later relocated to Nashville in 2018, where he became the opening chef at Edessa, joined Yolan at The Joseph and rose to executive sous chef/head sous chef, and later opened Kardes Turkish Grill and Bar. He is also slated to open Ayva, a restaurant focused on modern Turkish cuisine.
