Silvia Santiago

Silvia Santiago is the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Master Blender at Destilería Serrallés, the Puerto Rico-based maker of Don Q Rum. She began her career there in 1973 as a microbiologist in fermentation and later advanced through Laboratory Supervisor, Director of Quality Control, and Compliance Director before reaching her current leadership role. She is puerto Rico’s first female Master Blender.
