i. Biography
Stan Von Strohe is the co-founder and head distiller of Smoky Valley Distillery in Marquette, Kansas, which he and Michele Von Strohe established and opened in January 2020. Stan oversees all distilling operations, from grain selection to barrel aging, and helped develop the house style, including the signature small-barrel aging technique. Before founding the distillery, he spent decades as co-owner of a medical equipment distributorship.
