    Thanos Prunarus is the founder and owner of Baba au Rum in Athens, a cocktail bar he opened in 2009 after working as a bartender since 1999. He studied hospitality/touristic management in Crete and has said he wanted to bring serious cocktail culture and rum-focused drinking to Athens and Greece. Baba au Rum has been recognized internationally, including placements in The World's 50 Best Bars and the European 50 Best Bars lists.
