i. Biography
Tom Barnes is the chef-owner of Skof in Manchester’s NOMA district, which opened in May 2024. Skof earned a Michelin star in February 2025, and Barnes was also named Chef of the Year at the Manchester Food and Drink Awards after the restaurant’s opening. He previously spent about 20 years cooking at top restaurants before launching his first solo project.
