Uroš Fakuc

Uroš Fakuč is the chef and owner of Dam Restaurant in Kromberk near Nova Gorica, Slovenia, where he opened the restaurant in 2005 and later expanded it into DAM Boutique Hotel & Restaurant in 2019. He is identified in official tourist coverage as the Michelin-starred chef behind DAM, and Slovenian tourism materials note that he mastered his craft in Italy at the Albereta Estate, led by Gualtiero Marchesi. He is also associated with JRE and is known for a Mediterranean-leaning, ingredient-driven style.
