Valentin Orozco López

Valentín López Orozco is one of the two brothers who founded the winery La Niña de Cuenca in 2006 in Cuenca province’s Manchuela DO, where the family recovered old vines and began making artisanal Bobal-based wines at high altitude. A 2019 profile describes the brothers as making wines that are “different” and “artesanal,” aiming for harmony and a distinctive style rooted in their inherited vineyards. A 2020 interview reiterates that Valentín and Lorenzo López Orozco founded the bodega after reclaiming more than 100 years of family-owned vines.
