i. Biography
Valentín López Orozco is one of the two brothers who founded the winery La Niña de Cuenca in 2006 in Cuenca province’s Manchuela DO, where the family recovered old vines and began making artisanal Bobal-based wines at high altitude. A 2020 interview reiterates that Valentín and Lorenzo López Orozco founded the bodega after reclaiming more than 100 years of family-owned vines.
