Since 2007, Vincent Teulon has been winemaker at Chateau Vessière in Saint Gilles, a role defined less by novelty than by continuity. Where They Are Now

At Chateau Vessière, the craft is tied to stewardship. Vincent Teulon has described the estate as a family property across seven generations, and that inheritance shows up in the expectation that everyone contributes to the work. In practical terms, that means maintaining a vineyard through ongoing attention rather than relying on inherited momentum. The farming direction has moved with that same measured pace. Teulon has been explicit about the scale of the change: converting 60 hectares of vines is slow work, and he has not dressed it up as otherwise. The estate has been moving toward organic farming and, more recently, toward biodynamic practices, with the emphasis kept on process, not slogan. That position is clear in the way Teulon frames the work: farming practices should be more respectful of nature and of the environment where he works. For a winemaker, that is not a side note. It is part of the method, shaping how the estate is carried forward and how its wines are made.

Vincent Teulon's signature wines include Château Vessière. His work also includes Philippe de Vessière Blanc, which sits within his broader output at the estate.
