William F. Friel is a master distiller and blender who has worked across the American distilling industry. He served as the master distiller and manager at Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown and later worked as a consulting distiller and mentor at Laws Whiskey House in Denver. He began his career in production and yeast testing in Louisville during the 1960s.
