i. Biography
Adam Hannett is an Islay-born whisky maker who joined Bruichladdich in 2004 as a visitor-centre tour guide and rose through production to become head distiller in 2015 after Jim McEwan’s retirement. In 2025, Bruichladdich’s parent company announced him as master blender after a decade leading production at the Progressive Hebridean Distillery. He is associated with the production and blending of Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte, Octomore, and The Botanist gin.
