i. Biography
Cody Giles is the Head Distiller at James E. Pepper Distilling Co. in Lexington, Kentucky, and a native of Adair County, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Kentucky’s Chemical Engineering program and the university’s Distillation, Wine, and Brewing Studies program before joining the distillery in 2017 while it was still under construction. He later oversaw distillation, maturation, bottling, and expansion projects at the Lexington distillery and its warehouse property in Midway.
