By 2022, Aldert Nieuwoudt had become winemaker at Eikendal Vineyards, carrying that accumulated experience into a respected Cape estate.

At Eikendal Vineyards, Aldert Nieuwoudt works as winemaker. The role since 2022 reflects a practice shaped by both study and time in the field, with the kind of steadiness that comes from moving through the trade step by step rather than by shortcut.
