Aleš Kristančič is the owner, winemaker, and viticulturist behind Movia, the family estate in Goriška Brda on the Slovenia–Italy border. He is identified as an eighth-generation winemaker in the Kristančič family, and Movia is presented by Wine Spectator as a biodynamic-organic estate whose vineyards have been farmed by the family since the 19th century.
