Agricultural Sciences gave Alessio Planeta the technical base that later defined his work in wine: methodical observation, practical discipline, and attention to the conditions that shape a crop before it reaches the cellar. Since 1991, that training has been paired with the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director at Planeta in Menfi, where management and technical decision-making sit in the same hand. The result is a family winery built over time, with plan and process kept close together.
