At Burgenwein – Alexander Häßler, the work remains centered on freshness, texture, and mineral tension. The Moselle slopes do part of the talking: long hours of sun and a drawn-out ripening season shape the fruit before it reaches the cellar. "The long ripening phase on the sun-drenched steep slopes brings out the best in the subsoil." In that line, Alexander Häßler makes clear that the vineyard is treated as the source of structure and character, not as a backdrop.
