Alexander M. Heer

Alexander M. Heer is a German winemaker, oenologist, and environmental scientist focused on antique viticulture and natural wine production. He has pursued this mission since 2004, has lived permanently on Thasos since 2016, and has also worked as an oenological consultant in the United States. He previously maintained vineyards in the Rheingau from 2001 to 2015 and began reactivating old Greek grape varieties on Thasos in 2011.
