Alison A. Cook

Alison Cook is a Houston-based food writer and restaurant critic best known for her long-running coverage of the Houston dining scene in the Houston Chronicle and for later writing the newsletter Alison Cook's HTown. She has been described as an restaurant critic and has received the M.F.K. Fisher Award for Distinguished Writing and two James Beard Awards for restaurant reviewing.
