    i. Biography

    Annamaria Brezna O’Brien is the owner and baker behind Dolina Cafe and Bakery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she opened the cafe in 2017 and built a menu centered on Slovakian dishes, American/New Mexican favorites, and baked goods. She has said she has worked in restaurants for much of her life and that her Slovak roots and baking background shaped Dolina’s concept. She was named a James Beard Awards semifinalist for Best Chef: Southwest for Dolina Cafe and Bakery.
