The Climb
At the family vineyard in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, France, from 1984 to 1988, Anne Gros learned the routines that sit behind serious winemaking: vineyard discipline, cellar rhythm, and the patience required to let a vintage take shape without forcing it. Those years gave her a practical education in attention and restraint, rooted in the daily labor of the estate. Since 1988, the work of Domaine Anne Gros has been carried by Anne Gros as winemaker, with each vintage reflecting a method built on steadiness and exacting control. Since 2008, Anne Gros has also served as co-owner and winemaker of Tollot-Gros Minervois domaine, carrying the same independent approach into Minervois while keeping faith with the particular character of each site.
