Antonio “Tony Boy” Escalante

Antonio “Tony Boy” Escalante is the founder and chef-patron of the Antonio's Group of Restaurants, anchored by his flagship destination dining restaurant Antonio's in Tagaytay, Philippines. After studying commercial cookery at the Regency Park Institute of TAFE in Australia and training at The Tivoli at the Mandarin Oriental Manila, he opened Antonio's in 2002. Under his leadership, Antonio's became the first Philippine establishment recognized on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list and earned long-standing regional acclaim.
