By 2017, she had taken on two roles that still define her practice — Front Range wine representative of Old World Wine Imports and owner of Mistral Wine Co. — pairing distribution with direct education and consulting.

Today

Since 2017, Ashley Hausman Vaughters has been the Front Range wine representative for Old World Wine Imports in Colorado, United States. The role places her on the trade side of the work, where product knowledge, region, and context have to be carried with clarity from producer to buyer. Since 2017, she has also been owner of Mistral Wine Co. In Colorado, where the emphasis is wine education and consulting. That part of the practice shifts from placement to explanation, from moving bottles to helping shape how wine is understood. Taken together, the two roles show a career built to move between channels: the commercial realities of the market and the slower, more exact work of teaching and advising.
