i. Biography
Aurélien Vidal is the chef of Maison Vidal in Saint-Julien-Chapteuil, Haute-Loire, where he returned in 2016 after working in France, London, and the United States. He took over the family restaurant in 2022 and now runs the property with his wife Aurélie, overseeing both the gastronomic restaurant and the Bistrot de Justin. He has also been noted for finishing third in the world pâté-croûte championship in 2011 and 2017.
