The dual role at Weingut Juris and Juris Winery places Axel Stiegelmar in both execution and definition. In Gols, that means shaping the wines while also helping frame the identity around them. The Work Today

Today’s work is straightforward: winemaking at Weingut Juris and ownership with winemaking at Juris Winery. The emphasis is on handling fruit carefully, especially where the cellar asks for restraint. The point is simple: protect what was picked by hand and keep the grapes intact as they enter the cellar. Range is part of the same discipline. “It is our rich range that distinguishes Juris.”

Signature

Axel's signature wines include St. Georg, Ina´mera, Tricata, Strohwein, and Golser Pinot Noir 2020. Read together, they show the scope of the house: structured wines, distinctive bottlings, and expressions that rely on nuance rather than noise. The range mirrors the Juris identity, with each wine adding another point of reference to the cellar’s output.
