Baron Eric de Rothschild

Baron Éric de Rothschild is a French banker, philanthropist, and wine executive best known for directing Château Lafite Rothschild from 1974 until he transferred management of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) to his daughter Saskia de Rothschild in 2018. He became chair of Domaines Barons de Rothschild and helped expand the group beyond Bordeaux into regions including Portugal, Chile, China, and California. He has also served as chair of The Rothschild Archive Trust and has been associated with the Mémorial de la Shoah since 2005.
