Benoît Carcenat

Benoît Carcenat is a French chef from Périgord who trained in haute cuisine under Joël Robuchon and later worked with Christian Parra and Frank Ferriguti before joining Hôtel de Ville de Crissier, where he worked alongside Frank Giovannini and Benoît Violier. In 2021, he and his wife Sabine took over the Hôtel-Restaurant Le Valrose in Rougemont, creating La Table du Valrose, and the property later credited him as chef/director while noting his Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2015 distinction. He was named GaultMillau Switzerland's Chef of the Year 2023 and received his second Michelin star on 2 October 2023.
