At Bodegas Franco-Españolas, Borja Eguiz works in the practical middle of heritage: keeping a centenary winery operational while maintaining its place in Logroño’s city wine culture. As president of Asociación de Bodegas de Logroño (since 2020), he also carries a collective remit, representing an urban winemaking tradition that depends on coordination, restraint, and a clear sense of place. The job is less about display than about keeping continuity active.
