The Climb

Brent Elliott entered Four Roses in 2005 as Assistant Manager of Quality Control, a post centered on the small decisions that protect a distillery’s standard. From 2005–2009, he worked in the part of the operation where consistency is earned, not assumed, learning the house’s pace and expectations from within. From 2009–2015, Brent Elliott served as Senior Manager of Quality, taking on broader responsibility while staying anchored to the same practical discipline. The move marked a deeper trust in his judgment and a steady extension of the role quality played in the distillery’s identity. Since 2015, Brent Elliott has been Master Distiller of Four Roses Distillery, continuing in the role at the center of the house. The position places him where stewardship, process, and continuity meet.

Today

As Master Distiller, Brent Elliott keeps the emphasis on the basics that built the brand’s standing in the first place. His own framing is plain: "My focus will always be what got me to where I am, and what got the Four Roses brand where it is today, and that’s quality." It is a working definition of the job: maintain the standard, protect the details, and do not confuse visibility with value.
