Since 2008, Cecilia Valdivia has held the Head Winemaker post at Deerfield Ranch Winery in Glen Ellen, with blended wines as her lane. Born and raised in Mendoza, Argentina, she names the working bond behind the job in direct terms: she joined the winery through Robert Rex, who she describes as a mentor and a father figure.
