Cédric Deckert is a French chef from Alsace who, with his wife Christelle, opened La Merise in Laubach in 2016 and built it into a two-Michelin-star restaurant. He is also identified with Rubacuori at Château Monfort in Milan, though the available evidence is less specific about his exact current role there. La Merise is a restaurant in the heart of Laubach, about 30 minutes from Strasbourg, and the couple designed the venue themselves.
