i. Biography
Chantal Michel-Tortochot is the fourth-generation leader of Domaine Tortochot in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, where she oversees each vintage and the estate’s winemaking. The estate says she moved into wine after 15 years in business, then studied at the Wine University in Dijon and took over the family domaine at age 35.
