Charles Braastad

Charles Braastad is the Managing Director of Delamain Cognac and a ninth-generation descendant of the family associated with the house, which dates to 1762. Raised in the Cognac region of France, he joined the company in 1996 and later added cellar-master responsibilities, taking on the cellar master/deputy MD role in 2023 and the cellar master role in 2024. He is involved in management, marketing, tasting, and selecting cognacs, with sales responsibilities across multiple export markets.
