Chiara Pepe

Chiara De Iulis Pepe is the fifth-generation member of the Emidio Pepe family estate in Torano Nuovo, Abruzzo, and is responsible for viticulture and winemaking there. She took over vineyard and cellar responsibilities in 2020 and has also been described as head of wines at the estate, while earlier handling international positioning, communication, and wine education for the family business. She has been quoted discussing the estate’s long-standing artisanal approach, including spontaneous fermentation, no filtering, and minimal sulfites.
