i. Biography
Chompon “Boong” Boonnak is the co-owner of Mahaniyom in Brookline, Massachusetts, and the co-owner of Merai, a Thai-inspired bar/restaurant in Brookline. Mahaniyom has been recognized by the MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand, and Boonnak received the MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities Exceptional Cocktails Award for his creative cocktails with Thai influences. He is a Boston University Metropolitan College alum, where he earned a master’s degree in administrative studies with a concentration in financial economics.
