Since 2019, Pentonbridge Inn in Cumbria, England has been the kitchen where Chris Archer has led the pass as Head Chef. The role sits within a remote destination setting, and that context is part of the work rather than a side note.

In Their Words “For me, having a remote location is an advantage. It can feel hard in the beginning, but for a fine dining/destination restaurant, being remote adds to the story.” “I’m originally from East Yorkshire, and left school at 16 to train under Annie and Germain Schwab at Winteringham Fields in Lincolnshire.”
